I love projects.  Give me a start, and I will get you to the end.  I am a fundraiser, business owner, mom, coach, and more. I have almost 20 years of development and fundraising experience in the non-profit sector, working for organizations with budgets ranging from $150,000 to $5,000,000.

I’ve driven fundraising success by implementing processes and strategic planning across organizations.  I supported a team in growing our local nonprofit from a $500,000 annual budget to $750,000, while raising $2.6M for a comprehensive capital campaign.  Strategically aligning the marketing, donor stewardship, and planning was essential in this growth.  I also led the fundraising department from no working donor database to the largest individual annual gift of $5,000, resulting in a functioning database that supported regular annual gifts of $50,000. 

I am a Certified Fund Raising Executive (2014, re-certified 2017, 2020, 2023, and 2026) and became an AFP Master Trainer in 2018. I also hold a Certified Non-Profit Accounting Professional credential. I have served as a board member for the Greater Madison Association of Fundraising Professionals, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville College of BILSA Alumni Chapter, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Alumni Association Board of Directors, and Heartland Farm Sanctuary.

My strength is creating processes that support long-term fundraising growth and success. If we can change how we approach the infrastructure, we will have room to manage what we create. I’m passionate about taking on the challenge. Starting a new project where the dream and reality are still uncharted territory for everyone involved keeps me going through uncertain times. I enjoy working with new organizations that are stepping up to change the broken systems in our communities. 

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville (UWP) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management and a minor in Public Relations. I credit UW-Platteville with solidifying my decision to become a fundraiser and work full-time in the nonprofit sector. As a student, I organized a Habitat for Humanity campus chapter, planned a student trip and fundraisers to support Hurricane Katrina Relief, and helped students as a Program Director in the residence halls.

In my spare time, I enjoy being with my husband and daughter, exploring all that Wisconsin offers, including festivals, scenic outdoors, and volunteering at events.
